Life
Hi Everyone! What a privilege it is to let you know that I am truly blessed! I have a wonderful husband, Kelvin, and three great sons, Jeremiah, Matthew and Joshua. I have a beautiful daughter-in-law, Becky and I am proud of all of my children. I have known Jesus Christ as my savior for over 30 years. I love my family and all of my sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as my nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
I have been fortunate to love my job as a Teacher. I taught at El Sereno J.H.S. for 16 years. I have taught at Wilson H.S. in Los Angeles, for the past 14 years. I have been the Physical (P.E.) Training teacher at the Wilson H.S. Police Academy for almost eight years now. I have had the opportunity to team teach with various L.A.P.D. Officers throughout these years. I have been coaching and advising Cheerleaders for 30 plus years. In 1999, my best friend and I were awarded the GSSA California Cheer Coaches of the Year.
I love competing a team and watching my cheerleaders "gel" as a team. Students need to learn how to dream and how to set goals and work towards those goals. It's
a great experience to see how kids can become lifelong friends and take what I've taught them and apply these
values to all of their lifetime experiences. I have enjoyed taking many of my "kids" to Florida or Hawaii and watch their expressions as they take their first plane ride, or see a part of the country they have never seen before.
