Retired Military
Enlisted in the Navy in 1986, have been stationed on 4 ships, two instructor tours and officially retired 30 Sept 2008. Countries I've been to: Spain, Italy, France, Egypt (during Desert Storm), Crete, Brazil, Chile, Peru. Dam Neck in August 2004 as the 2M and Calibration Lab Division Officer. I volunteered for a Individual Augmentation tour in Iraq at Camp Bucca as the only female Guard Duty Officer at a compound guarding hardened detainees. I returned after a 15.5 month deployment to Dam Neck. I completed 22 years in the Navy in September 2008 and will be teaching radar systems to technicians at another Navy school here in Norfolk for the next few years.
