Laura's Story
Hello! It sure has been a long time!
2/14/09: A few weeks ago, Fargo was on the national news due to the severe weather. Sorry guys, but I DO NOT miss the cold and snow! Anyway... it made me think of my old friends and prompted me to check out this site. So here I am, making up for my lack of contact and curious to hear about what others have been up to!
I guess I really did disappear to you all after moving from Fargo. After graduation my family moved to New Jersey to a town about 20 miles outside of New York City. I went to a university in that area and got a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.
I have really enjoyed my career. I have worked mostly in rehabilitation hospitals with stroke and traumatically brain injured patients. I've also done a lot of work in the field of assistive technology. I currently work for a school system as a special education coordinator, and am part-time faculty at a Georgia university.

1986 and had my first child, Eric in 1991.
He (my son) turned 18 years old on Feb. 2. It blows my mind! HOW COULD I BE THIS OLD?!?! My daughter, Allison was born in 1993. What a gift she has been (both my kids). I thank God for them every day.
In 1992 we moved from N.J. to Georgia. We had traveled here often to visit my parents and we fell in love with the area. The sun shines in the winter!!
My kids and I currently live in one of the suburbs of Atlanta. It a good mix of city and a little country. Eric plays baseball and hopes to continue to do so in college. I think he has a good chance and it will be fun to watch him fulfill his dream. "Alli" is a sophomore and plays soccer and volleyball.
So life is good. Despite a ton of mistakes, God has blessed me with more
than I deserve. My only regret is that time has gone by so fast!
