Laura's Story
I met my future husband when I was a student at BYU in 1975. His name is Mike and we've been married for 30 years. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful husband and family. We have four children: Nickie, Megan, Matt and Ty. I've been a stay at home mom for the past 28 years. We have lived in Utah for 14 years and really love it here. We're just 20 minutes from Snowbird ski resort! Besides being a mom, I keep busy with piano lessons...Expand for more
, gardening, oil painting, and karate--I actually achieved black belt status last year! Phew! Our entire family also scuba dives (with the exception of Megan, who is special needs) and we go on scuba trips as often as we can. Most recently, Mike and I went on a dive trip to the Komodo Islands in Indonesia. It was amazing! I am still in pretty regular contact with Darlene Hegel (Hamilton), Peggy Swingle (Singleton), and Lia DeGroot (Pilotte).
