Laura's Story

After high school I went to college in St. Cloud. In 1976 I moved to Georgia where I met my first husband, had three children, and earned a Masters and Specialist degree in Early Childhood education. My husband and I divorced in 1988 and I was lucky enough to meet and marry a man that was a wonderful step father to my children and a great "Pap...Expand for more
a" to our grandchildren. Sadly he died in May so I am now trying to figure out what direction my life is going to go. I am grateful that I have a wonderful teaching position here, in Albany, and a great support group. Two of my five grandchildren live in town so they are keeping me very busy...no time to sit around feeling sorry for myself!
