Laura's Story
Life
Well I used to be really shy, now I often speak in front of 400+ people at work. It doesn't phase me one bit.
I have viewed my life as a journey on a winding path. I never know what the next turn will lead to. I trust my inner voice and take one step at a time.
I married in 1983. I have two daughters, born in 1986 and 1989. After 20 years I am now divorced.
I have lived in the Ann Arbor Michigan area all of my adult life. I am about ready to try some place new. I have two dogs, two cats and a snake.

, home of Central Michigan University was just right. I majored in Speech Pathology and Education. I have two masters degrees from Eastern Mich. Univ. one in Early Childhood educaiton and the other in Educational Leadership.
Workplace
I ran a day care in my home for 12 years. It was great cuz it let me be a stay at home mom and a working mom at the same time and helped to fulfill my dream of running my own school. As my youngest went to school I went a step further and was the Director of Religious Education at a Unitarian Universalist Church. Now I work out of my home for the Unitarian Universalist Association assessing our youth ministry. I have written several curriculum for use in UU churches.
