Life
Hi! I recently joined Classmates to re-connect with "old" (LOL) friends. I'm presently at the end of a "started out good/turned ugly" marriage of 28 years. The divorce should be final very soon. I'm sad, but look forward to entering the next phase of my life with an upbeat attitude.
I have a wonderful 22-year-old son who is the joy of my heart. I wanted to have more children, but after three miscarriages, I resigned myself to the reality that this was not meant to be.
I love my life and my work. What I do never seems like "work" and I thank God every day for that. I have several good friends and many good acquaintances, and enjoy a busy social life with my women friends and family. I haven't started dating again as of yet, but look forward to re-entering the dating world once the divorce is finalized (that's the good Catholic-school girl in me--LOL again!) Still waiting for the final divorce papers (can you believe it has taken five years from start to finish?) Still living in Port Jefferson Station (for 24 years) with my almost 26-year-old son, Greg. Still doing what I love, going out with the same friends, and have recently begun dating (yikes! LOL!) Would love to hear from anyone and look forward to reminiscing.
