I've certainly had an eventful life! I used to joke with my mother-in-law that my life was boring. Big mistake. lol. My husband of 12 years and I got divorced when our daughter was 7 years old. It was a really difficult time for us. I didn't have a job because I had stayed home with her since she was born. I got a job and met and married my second husband. We were married 9 years. He was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in late Feb 2005 and passed away early that July. I was blessed to be able to take care of him in our home with the help of hospice. I will never forget their kindness and helpfulness. About 6 weeks after my husband passed away, my daughter went away to Truman for college. Yeah, empty nest, huh? :) I due for my mammogram right around when Dave died, but I was too busy mourning to think about it.
