Laura's Story
I have been married since September 2008. I have 2 sons. My oldest is 11 and my youngest is 2.5. My husband enlisted in the ARMY shortly after we got married and after basic we moved to Virginia. We live on an ARMY base about 15 minutes from Washington DC. My son is in kindergarten and I am a stay at home moom. I have created a charity for the military. I am the leader of cards for soldiers. ke cards and then send them to deployed soldiers so that they can send them home to family. I am also the leader of an FRG group for our unit. I basically go to all the unit meetings and insurance things and all the stuff that the spouses don't want to or can't attend and then I update the soldiers and spouses in our unit. I also plan the parties for the unit. Its a fun position and keeps me busy!
