Life
Hello to anyone who may happen to read this!
I've been living in Los Angeles ( San Fernando Valley) for the most part since graduating from McNary in 1984. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988 with a BA Degree in Sociology and History. (Social Sciences and Communication, pre-law emphasis) Upon graduation, I took and passed the written exam for the Los Angeles Police Department, but didn't proceed with the rest of the required testing as I didn't feel like I wanted to jump right into a patrol car at that point! Instead of going to law school(or pursuing a career in law enforcement) right away as planned, I started working in the radio promotion department at A&M Records. (A&M was the record label for Sting, Janet Jackson, Soundgarden, Styx, Bryan Adams, etc.) I was lucky enough to work with an amazing group of wonderful people at A&M -a "once in a lifetime" bunch of great co-workers! It was quite an exciting job and I've gotten to know lots of the musicians I admired in high school.(members of Journey, Aerosmith, etc) I was at A&M from 1989 to late 1997. After A&M, I worked in Artist Relations at Sabian Cymbals for 3 years. Throughout my years at A&M Records and Sabian I accepted some fun "glamour" modeling assignments on the side. I have appeared on some romance novel covers, in a 1998 calendar, and have appeared in several magazines. (the last magazine was "Hot Rod" Magazine in November 2000) I have recently taken some "refresher" Criminal Justice classes and will probably take some more classes...I have my eye on a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology. (Perhaps law school as well?) I am currently volunteering as a Victim's Advocate at a District Attorney's office. Please excuse this bit of "shameless advertising," but I bet I'm passing along a few laughs...I have opened an eBay Store named "Mermaid's Jest Magnetic Novelties." I sell my favorite irreverent,risque and often "politically incorrect" magnets in this store - please check 'em out if you'd like! I am still good friends with my high school boyfriend, Cameron Kling! He is alive and well in Los Angeles! I hope everyone is doing really well! Maybe we can communicate via e-mail sometime!

Administered record orders, travel arrangements, ticket buys, expense reports, check requests, production and correspondence documents. Weekly promotion calls to radio stations to promote music. Coordinated radio and media events for artist appearances. Daily liaison with product management/marketing, sales, artist relations, merchandising and publicity departments.
