Laura's Story

Workplace After graduation in 1951, I went to work for Alcoa in New Kensington. There I met my husband and married in 1953. Worked a short time for a Finance Company and they quit to raise a family. After transferring several times, went to Massena, NY. There, after my divorce, I worked in a bank and then went back to Alcoa, worked there 15 years, retired in 1996, moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1997. ...Expand for more
Now work part time for an ocean-front Real Estate Developer and thorougly enjoy it. But I do look forward to full retirement some day. I have finally retired fully and moved back to the North Country, Watertown, New York to be with children, grandchildren and great grans. July 2013. Had enough of cold snowy weather and have returned to "Paradise". Love Myrtle Beach and will stay here forever!
