Laura's Story

You know, I have really learned over the past 10 years that life really doesn't always turn out the way you expect. For those of you who remember me in high school, I was type one diabetic. I never thought I would get one of the many complications that...Expand for more
are possible from it, though. But I did. In June of 2007, after a year and a half of kidney dialysis, I had a kidney and pancreas transplant and and now healthier than I have ever been and living a very happy, normal life. THANK THE LORD FOR MODERN MEDICINE!!!
