Laura's Story
I went to Mr. Kaiser's funeral last week. When the call went out for folks to make up a choir, I knew I had to go.
I especially enjoyed hearing what his daughter and son had to say. It was also nice to hear Mr. K singing via tape during the proceedings.
It was a fun challenge to sight read the 2 choir songs we did. Yes, I did say "sight read"! Even though I played for mixed chorus in 1970-71, and sang with concert ch...Expand for more
oir in 1971-72, I hadn't sung those 2 songs before. Most of the old students who were there were from his choirs in the years after we moved away.
Kim Cook: I knew Leslie would remember you! And she did remember your birthday, too! She thought you wouldn't remember her. When I told her you had asked about her, she said that she remembered you every year on your birthday. You guys should find each other on Facebook. :-)
