Laura's Story
I'm glad to hear that we're having a 30th reunion-- just a little late!
Bill and I live in Bellevue and see a lot of BHS folks pretty often. Ed Villesvik is a next-door neighbor and my kids go to school with Tom Cruikshank's, Bill (and Kathy) Nelson's and Joe Semler's kids. I've also run into Kara (Beatty) and Tom Neary and Doug Ichikawa on the soccer field. Two of our other neighbors are BHS grads from prior years.
Our kids are Adrienne 17 and Austin 15. Adrienne is busy looking at colleges and looking forward to graduation (Lake Washington ...Expand for more
HS) and getting far away from mom and dad. Austin attends Interlake's PRISM program and just had a HS soccer game at BHS. That brought back memories!
I have a job that I love and I enjoy being in banking. I also teach for Bellevue Community College and will be starting on my doctorate in business after Austin graduates. In my next career, I'm going to be as a professor and a consultant after I retire.
My hobbies haven't changed much - reading, music, biking and gardening plus our horses and dogs.
I look forward to seeing y'all at the reunion.
