Laura's Story
I married Gary Grimes in 1985. I worked as a Medical Assistant for three different specialties from 1984 - 1997. We had two daughters. We lost Gary in a construction accident in 1998. I married one of his best friends, Doug Hartley in 1999. Our daughters are on their own now. The oldest, Sunny, earned her BA in Communications from Hood College. her office. I earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology in 2015. As of February 2017, I was officially divorced from my second husband. I lost my mother in May 2017 and my significant other of the last three years to cancer in November 2017. Needless to say 2017 has been a tough year, so I am praying that this year will bring new and happier memories. I am currently working on transitioning into the mental health care field. I love to watch DIY and practice what I have learned on my home.
