Laura's Story
I was born and raised a Army brat. I was able to travel to many wonderful places and met lots a great people. Every state we moved to left a bit of itself in my heart. One place in particular changed me forever. It was my freshman year when my step-dad was stationed in Fort Devens, Ma. I just attended Ayer High School for one year but that year changed my life. I met a local boy and had a beautiful son. The summer of 78 i moved to San Antonio Texas to have my son, and stayed with my family. this very day. I currently live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas and work for a major airline. I am married (30 yrs) and have a daughter as well as my son. I have 7 grandchildren and enjoy my rowdy house when everyone is visiting Meemaw and PawPaw. I adore my three dogs, but tolerate the three cats that my husband and daughter have seen fit to bring into my home. I try to visit Salem,Ma every October whenever possible. I enjoy music, hard rock and 70's, as well as creating blankets and all kinds of needle crafts. My dream is to live in the country in a small adobe home with a garden, chickens, a goat or two and be totally self sufficient.
