Laura's Story
Life
Well, not much has changed for me since the last reunion.
I'm OLDER!!! (Aren't we all?)
I got married to a fellow '81 Central classmate, Greg Conklin. That went well, NOT!!! We've been separated since December. This will be divorce number three!! Oh, well. I'm sure Mr. Right is out there for me somewhere!!!
I have two children. Emily, who is 7, in second grade at Jana, and is exactly like her mom from the smart mouth down to the pug nose! And Andrew, who is 5 and missed the K deadline by 12 days, so he has another year of preschool! I should've started younger!! I'm too old to have kids this young!!!!
They keep me VERY busy. We do EVERYTHING together. Guess that's the nice thing about having...Expand for more
them later in life.
I still live in Florissant on Pelican Lane. (off of Patterson, Love, Humes) You all remember the area.
One of these days I guess I'll be following most Florissant people out west. I miss the country! I lived in "small town USA" for about ten years in North Central MO and really miss the country and small town atmosphere.
I'm substitute teaching in the Hazelwood School District. I LOVE it! I do elementary only. I'm not crazy enough to take on the middle and high schoolers.
Well, that pretty much covers the last five years! Not very eventful, but, I've loved every minute of being a stay-at-home mom and now subbing.
