Life
My Spouse
I met my husband Nathan by talking with him on the Citizens Band Radio. Didn't realized he would become my husband. I love him too. He's been very good to me and our 2 children.
My Kids
I have an adorable, intelligent daughter who is 25 years old. She is a 2nd year Graduate Student at University of New Mexico. I also have a very tall, handsome, and brilliant 23 year old son who is an Architecture Graduate student at the Univerity of New Mexico. Both of my kids graduated as Valedictorian from Navajo Preparatory School in Farmington, NM
My Job
I love my job. I teach at Pinon Accelerated Middle School. My job requires me to facilitate the 6th grade students to learn more, and expand upon what they already know, to what they want to learn. I make many sacrifices, and efforts to encourage my students to read and write more.
School
I was a "school girl", because my major focus was to complete High School and College, which I did. I remember making decision with my best friend Barbara Tso that we would go to college at Northern Arizona University after we complete High School....Expand for more
I was devastated when I learned that Barb dropped out to move to California.
The funniest time is when approximately 20 conniving boys started hitting us with snowballs on our way to the Cafeteria. When we ran into the Cafeteria our faces had traces of red spots from the painful snowballs that were thrown at us.
The craziest time is when my friends Alta and Lena tried to set me up with a guy (whom I hated with a passion). They told me my brother was waiting outside, and as I walked out I saw the "guy". I was very upset (boiling mad) and tried to get back into the dorm. The girls held on to the door tightly. I had to run around the building to get back into the building...this was a crazy and horrible experience. After this incident I stopped believing the two friends.
The other crazy time is when my friend Marjorie Beno and I flunked Health, because we sassed our PE/Health Teacher, Miss Claymore. I think this grade was given to us to wake us up.
The happiest time is when the girls Track Team went to Santa Fe, NM to compete in a Track Meet. I won first place for the 100 yard dash at IAIA.
