Born and raised in Detroit, moved to west side of the state to attend Grand Valley State in 1975...moved to Ann Arbor, in October 1980...been here since...two children, two marriages, four adult step-kids and twelve step-grandchildren inherited from second marriage....
I worked at the University of Michigan Hospital for twenty five years and retired in 2008 to care for my physically disabled adult son, who sadly passed away June 4, 2011.....to say that life is challenging is a profound understatement.
The other half of my heart is my daughter, living and thriving in Chicago....I am so very proud of that girl!!!!!!
