Laura's Story
Since we graduated, I married Dan in 1978. That makes 35 years now. We have 2 daughters. The oldest is 33 and lives in Lisle, the youngest is 30 and lives in Austin, TX. We call her our destination daughter. We've lived in the same 125 year old house in Elmhurst for 30 years, and have no intention of moving. We love the area and our neighbors. raditional pieces as well as art quilts. I prefer the art quilts,...they take a lot of time and focus, and allow me to be more creative. Some of them have been in major shows around the country. For those of you who knew my family, Dad died 15 years ago, and my mother is 89 and still living at the same house in South Holland. My brother moved to California in 1973, and my sister moved out there and had a family in 1981. Nothing exciting here, just happy with my life and where I am at this point in my life.
