Laura's Story

I've lived in Tucson, Arizona from 1999 to 2007. I now live in Bocas del Toro, Panama - a Carribbean archipelago. I am a certified yoga instructor, and own a yoga studio on the island on which I live (Isla Colon). Bocas del Toro, and Panama in general, is BEAUTIFUL - where I feel most at home. Island life is tranquil, with blue water and coral reefs. Little clothing needed in the warm, tropical climate. I do like to take road trips on the mainland though, up into the mountain cloud-forests of Panama, loving to white water raft, and zip-line in the canopy. I left two husbands behind, and I have NO KIDS by choice. :) I LOVE the freedom to travel abroad and meeting new people. I'm still obsessed with music, and going to concerts. I'm still a Beatles freak, but am really into The Kinks and Ray Davies now. My boyfriend, Peter, is Austrian and also lives on Isla Colon, Bocas del Toro, Panama. I met him aft...Expand for more
er I bought my house in Bocas, so it's a nice treat. I love to go out on Peter's boat to outer islands, spending the day snorkeling, watching dolphins, and having fun. Life is sweet. I own a photography business called Bocas Foto, specializing in photographing beautiful women! Fine art nudes is what I love to photograph, including self-portraits. Self-employment is the only way to go for me. I will never work for "the man" again... I went back to D.C. for the 20th highschool renuion. It was great to see Rob Minson again. We had a blast together, especially the day after the reunion, going downtown and doing yoga - crazy handstands and stuff - on the mall. Gotta spread love and positive energy in that city!
