Laure's Story
Life
After High School I worked as a hairdresser. A year later my Dad unexpectedly died in Aug. 1978 at the age of 47..it made me think about how fragile life can be and our mortality. I went to college for a while but never finished...would like to go back though eventually. I did quite a bit of traveling that included going to my mother's birthplace in Vienna Austria which was amazing!!! Started dating my husband in June 1989. My Mom died unexpectedly in Sept. 1992, she was only 60 which was quite devastating again to both my sister and I.
I was married in June 1994 and we had our daughter in May 1997....what a blessing!!! My best accomplishment is becoming a mother. I feel it is an honor and a priviledge to be a Mom...I am l...Expand for more
oving every precious moment teaching, sharing and watching my daughter grow along with my 20 year old step-daughter whom I am very close to and have known since she's five!!
I am involved in my Church, work at my daughter's school part time and have my own business still doing hair (27 yrs!!!) part time. Life is soooooo busy as you all know and the days just fly by.... so I savor every day, thank God for my family, our friends and our health.
My biggest regret is that my parents didn't live to see my younger daughter.
I am looking forward to the Summer and will be celebrating my tenth Wedding anniversary in June.
I am still in touch with a few people from Glenn.
Hope to see many of you at our 30th reunion in 2007!!!!!
