Laurel's Story
Life
First of all, I was better known by my classmates as Lolly or (who remembers why) as Cricket. I attended Murray Hill and Hutton Elementary Schools and 7th grade in Royster Junior High in Chanute, Kansas. Then we moved to Westminster, Colorado and I began as a student at Hodgkins Junior High and finished up at Westminster High. I married Bill Fenz, a 1962 graduate of Westy. He was killed in an auto accident in late 1965. I am now married to an electrical engineer. We have 5 children. (1 son and 4 daughters ... two Journeyman electricians,...Expand for more
1 accountant, 1 executive HR manager, and 1 state employed secretary) I also have 4 stepchildren and I have 23 grandchildren (the lights of my life). I went on to school and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. I own and operate a computer-aided drafting service and also have a bed and breakfast here in Alaska. Even though I did not actually graduate with my class in 1964, I did go to school with many of you from 1959 through late 1963, and would like to be able to maybe make contact with some of my old classmates that I have lost track of.
