Laurel's Story

Life While serving 4 years in the Army, I met and married my husband of 20 years. We traveled around the country and world with the military and retired in 2000. I was able to move back to Prescott when we retired and was able to get on at the VA Hospital. I finished my BS in Management in 2002 and am currently working on my Masters in Occupational Safety & Health / Environmental...Expand for more
Management. I work as a Safety Specialist for the Hospital. I have 3 children, Bethany is 21 and in the Army in the 101st Airborne, she just returned from a year in Iraq. Brittany is 15 and is attending High School at Tri-City Prep and wants to be a Lawyer. Bruce Jr. is 10 and is in the 4 th grade and is a brain. It is great to be back around family, and loving being back home.
