Laurel's Story
Well I did it! I am a FULL TIME AUTHOR AND HISTORIAN with over TWENTY book titles self-published since August 2012 when I released the first edition of my first novel, "The Great Succession Crisis," part one of the Legacy of Princess Anlei Trilogy. The Peers of Beinan science fiction series is now COMPLETE (though room in the time line to add more books if the series takes off). Look for these Peers of Beinan series books:

But my greatest success is through my work as a historian on The Legendary Women of World History Series. These are biographies of women from across history whose lives still touch ours today. There are currently four books plus a boxed set (Renaissance Queens):
Boudicca: Britain's Queen of the Iceni (ancient Britain)
Catherine de Valois (late medieval England and France)
Mary Queen of the Scots (Queen Mary Stuart; focuses on her reign)
Queen Elizabeth Tudor: Journey to Gloriana (told through the lens of her relationship with Robert Dudley).
As of 1 January 2016 my work in progress is "Empress Wu Zetian" about the most hated woman in Chinese history.
Since you know I love my birds, I also wrote "Preparing for My First Cockatiel" in 2015. The first two LWWH biographies are also adapted for the stage.
