Laurel's Story
I'm retired and living in Texas. My husband, Gaddy, works for a law firm in Dallas. We have four daughters. Katy, my oldest, lives in Tulsa with husband Dave. She is a senior supervisor for an international recruiting company. Jacob,9 and Sara Beth, 4 are her little ones. Jennifer, my oldest step-daughter is a doctor specializing in hepatology at Baylor in Dallas. Kelsey, my youngest, lives in Tulsa and writes for several publications and teaches for TCC. busy little ones. Her days are kept terribly busy with Hawkins, 6; Mimi, 4; and Miriam, who will be 2 in Nov. Lindsay was a pediatric nurse, but she stays really busy with her three.
I did some consulting and leadership training for about four years after I retired, but all of our grants and financial support seemed to be going away. That was okay because as you can see I was having lots of opportunities to have fun as Gramma! Recently, Sara Beth told me at a stop light that red meant stop, green meant go, yellow meant be careful, and purple meant dance! I am just waiting for purple these days!
