Laurel's Story

I moved into Architectural drafting/design in the mid-late 70's , traveled the country, married and had a beautiful daughter, then ended up managing facility projects for major companies in the Silicon Valley area. Met my second husband and moved to Virginia in 2002. We loved watching the wildlife in our backyard...deer, red fox, racoon, squirrels, owls and even turkey vultures....Expand for more
I continued in facilities planning, project management, design and leasing. Retired in Southern California in 2015 to enjoy the weather and be back on the west coast. My daughter, SIL and two grandchildren settled in northern Virginia, so I visit when I can. Spend most every morning at the gym or during COVID, in the parks. Enjoying the climate, the wineries and some travel.
