well. I just lost my longer and more interesting version ... so here is what i did after leaving tlkennedy... I was hired to work as radioactive lab technician at U of T for the head of the botany dept. Learned lots about amino acids, photosythensis... radioactive compounds and analysis... also how acetone which we used a lot would create holes in our nylons... then of course we had showers in all the door ways and radioactive warning signs all over the wall.. no one came in unannounced... I identified and tracked amino acids thru the photophysytnesis cycle.. really interesting and rather risky at the same time.. at lunch time we four (boss, me and 2 grad students played bridge in the basement water lab... ) While doing this I started to study jazz organ music with a well known New York jazz organist who played in Toronto... I became his protege.. one of... I was quite scared of him.. he played at the park plaza hotel... during the day i worked in lab and at night I went and listened to him play... and take lessons while he golfed around the room...
