Lauren's Story
At my age I have come to the conclusion that I miss my youth, which means I miss all of you. Melancholy can be torturous. Even with melancholy, I must acknowledge that God has blessed me incredibly. I have three great kids and three rambunctious grandsons, all of whom I love dearly. The picture shown is not a very good one of any of us, but it was taken at my youngest daughter's high school graduation. My husband was there, too, but he had to take the picture. LOL. So much for vanity.
I graduated from the University of Montevallo, and teach eighth grade literature. I've just always loved ...Expand for more
school. I still manage to have fun just about every day. I can't believe they pay me for entertaining kids, but there are those days when I feel like they don't pay me enough! LOL.
I've managed to get back to Massachusetts several times, and dream of it as often as I dream of Mobile and the Col. Dixie drive in restaurant, or the Bama Drive In Theater. Memories are sweet...
I hope you have a good one. Thanks for all my memories. I can only assume if you are reading this, you must have meant something to me, and somehow helped mold the person I became.
