Lauren's Story
Graduated UW-Madison 1987. In 1988 I was selected for commissioning and navigator training (KC-135R air refueler). Moved to Sacramento, CA to earn aerial rating and specialized training for the tanker. Within 6 months of my return, I was deployed to Cairo, Egypt in support of Operation Desert Storm. A few months later, I returned to the US and my job at NML.
After a couple years of working at the office and flying on evenings, weekends and special trips (all over the country and the world) I decided to work part-time for an NML agent so I could fly more. A year later I found and trained my own replacement so I could fly full time (missions like Hope for Haiti, Deny Flight over Bosnia, etc).

*Moved to Naples, FL in 1996 to open a Steinway piano dealership with husband.

*Began a moving company in 2001 with soul mate, Doug, and Dalton was born in 2001.
*Landon was born in 2003.
*Moved to Orlando, FL in 2003.
*Real estate investing 2003-2005.
*Graduated with master's in taxation 2004.
*Moved to Dallas TX (Frisco) 2005.
*Joined Merrill Lynch in 2007. *Completed Series 7, 66 and Life & Health Ins. Lic. as well as CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor).
*There was always music. UW- Concert Choir, Bel Canto Chorus, Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, leads in musicals, contemporary worship leading at 3 different churches (part-time job), weddings, funerals, private parties, fund raisers, holiday celebrations, etc.
By the way, I'm so sorry I missed our 10-year reunion. I was scheduled to be in Paraguay (no kidding), but then it was canceled at the very last minute.
