Life
Life is truly fabulous!
I now live on the opposite side of the US in California, where I decided to move at the tender age of 12..I swear, I remember the coldest winter of my life in Pittsford and knew, deep down I was a California girl! But, I got here via route of Howard University in Washington, D.C. then University of North Texas outside of Dallas TX. Just when I thought I'd become a professional student, tall, dark and handsome rescued me from the Dallas heat, and we live in the Bay Area, which is my Utopia!
My career path has been fun and exciting. I went to school for electrical engineering and accounting, thinking I was a numbers person. But as I grew, I learned more about myself and what I valued. 13 years working in the NBA in marketing/broadcasting, public relations and creating community relations programs for NBA players and teams and most recently was host for the NBA All-Star Game in Oakland, California in 2000. (Funny, I was a cheerleader at Pittsford Sutherland for basketball-I always remember being sooooo into the game and forgetting to cheer!) I am currently a corporate event manager for an International firm, specializing in people empowerment and recognition programs! I've also owned my own wedding cake and pastry business along the way as well.
Married for almost 19 years to an incredible man - we have two awe-inspiring children (ages 15 and 17) and a crazy cat named Pumpkin.
