Life After highschool, I attended a small Lutheran college just north of NYC. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! I became involved in touring performance groups singing and doing mime. I made many friends, traveled all over the east coast and finally met my husband. Upon graduation I taught school in Queens and Yonkers, waiting for my fiance to graduate. The it was off to St. Louis for him to enter seminary for 4 years. I taught school there as well. We had our first two children there and made many dear friends. Upon his graduation, we moved to northern Michigan where he would be pastor and I would no longer have to teach! We had two more children the 4 years here and learned of and began homeschooling...so much for no more teaching! We've moved around plenty since then...southern Illinois, northern Iowa, western KS and now eastern NC and had five more kids for a total of nine, 4 girls and 5 boys, ages 18 to 3. #10 is to come in June 2009! hooray!
