Laurie's Story
Still married...going on 19 years....wow that makes me feel old!
We just bought a new house last year but have lived in Willoughby now for 10.
June of our senior year I gave birth to Joshua, who is heading off to college this fall...which really makes me feel old and sad:{
In 95 we had our second boy, Jacob and I was blessed with boy #3 Aaron in 97.
We usually spend all of our time involved with the boys sports programs. Joshua and Jacob play football and wrestle while Aaron has concentrated solely on wrestling. It's paid off, he's made it to state twice already. Josh will wrestle in college and plans to become an engineer (taking after his dad). Jacob is gearing up for "Friday Night ...Expand for more
Lights" as he will be heading to the high school this year. He has great football talent.
As for me, I've spend most of these past 2 decades as a stay at home mom/team mom. I did work for a couple of years doing criminal background checks from home.
We are hyper-involved in the boys athletics and I love every minute of it. We really have little time for anything else. I wouldn't change a thing! Basically the sun rises and sets in my boys. If God could promise me a boy I'd have 1 more, but with my luck I'd have twin girls.
We were just at Garfield Heights High School for the East VS. West Senior All-Star Wrestling Tournament. Too bad the school didn't look like that when we went!
