Laurie's Story
Life
I married at age 19, had three kids by the age of 22. Divorced at 27 and have been single ever since. I think I married the wrong Gatewood...my brother-in-law Jim was a year or two behind us in HS, he is a great guy. My kids are all in college now (should have planned better). The girls live in the area but my son is in California draining my bank account.
I went to nursing school while raising the kids and went on for a health care administration degree. Bought a house in Wauwatosa and currently am the Director of Nursing at a rehab ...Expand for more
center in Waukesha. Plan to go on a cruise in a couple of weeks and spend it lounging poolside and drinking pina coladas. Drink umbrellas are my favorite thing...sugar cubes are a close second.
My middle child plans on moving back home for a while after she finishes college in a couple of months. She is a singer songwriter check her out at lisagatewoodtunes.com. She plans on touring this summer but plays locally and could use the support!
I will look forward to the upcoming reunion, it's always interesting.
