Laurie's Story
Life has been bizarrely good to me, despite my many early attempts to wreck it! I am happily married to my second husband and am a late life mother of a daughter, Grace, who is now 10. She is my daily challenge and my wisest mentor and I feel truly blessed to have squeaked in under the parenthood wire. She also arrived on the planet an exceptional gymnast - go figure.

, married to same, and live a pretty traditional life in Venice, CA, which is pretty bohemian: sort of like high school, where my friends called me the "jockhippie."
I don't sing much, except in the shower or with the children, and can't imagine acting on the stage. Odd, how things change... I do write, and am working on two collections of stories, one called, appropriately, "Geezer Mom".
