Laurie's Story
Hi to all my friends from Alta Vista, Cortez High and the old neighborhood (30th and Alice)
Where does one begin. I married Frank Macfarlane in Highschool and that lasted 2 years. He was a Drugie...
Married #2 who was a Alcohalic, that lasted 2 years and produced my Son Justin.
Married #3 he was a gambler and i put up with it all for 23 years. and produced my Daughter Amanda.
I remaind divorced for 4 years and meet the best man (Kim) in the world.
We were married 6-7-08 at 9:10
and still as happy as the first day we meet.
He has 6 children, 30,25,21,11,8,and 7
I have 2, 30 and 22.
together we have 8.
I went back to collage at 40 and earned a degree in Special Education.
I used it for a while but they don't pay teachers much money.....

I also worked for a grocery chain while going and working for the school district. I now have 15 years in and hope to dam well be able to retire some day !!!!
My son gave me my first grand child
Skyler Ann, she is the joy of my heart and now my daughter just gave me a grandson Jayden and he joins in that joy that fills my heart.
Most of you who knew me knew my family Mom, dad, Susan and frank.
My mom passed when i was 26, my brother passed at age 24, my dad passed two years later as well as my own father. All that remains is my sister Susan and I.
I have stayed in touch with some of the old friends and neighborhood group and often think about all the great times we had. If you want to get in touch please fill free to do so.
