Laurie's Story

After OPHS I attended school at Brooks College in Cali... worked in fashion in LA and then banking in MI (as we all know life takes turns). Married, one son (now 28!), move to NY and return to school following a divorce (think maze for those turns). Recently (with the ASN) I accepted a position at James J Peters VAMC. this is the best part of my life now... I say that only because my son is off living his life and I am focused on mine (as it should be). No new men, but life is still very good! And, I return to school in February for my BSN. What the future holds is difficult to say, but I know it will include a return out west where my soul belongs!
