Laurie's Story

Go to my Notes section for reunion information I married Jeff Prather (Covina High, '70) in May, 1972. After 9 years of traveling, school, career and lots of fun, we started a family. We moved to Orange County in 1974 and bought a house in Tustin in 1981 just before we had our first son. We're still in the same place! We have three great boys, Joshua, Jason and Jonathan. l volunteer to PTA president at the elementary, middle & high school (the boys really hated it when they were in high school!) Jeff & I have gone to the reunions (except the 10th, Josh was due any minute). There was a combined 30th for his class and mine and lucky for us, in Orange County. It was great to see everyone. My sister is a writer, mostly of children's gardening books, has her own website and still goes by Sharon Lovejoy, although married.
