Laurie's Story
It has now been two years now since I moved to Arizona from Colorado Springs, and I feel at home.. I have made many wonderful friends and go dancing every weekend. I have been a "Nanny" for the past 8 months and adore the family I work for. They have a darling little boy who is vey special to me, and he calls me "Nanny". I taught him "baby signing" when I first arrived and it is amazing how his parents and I can communicate with him! I teach signing mainly for the interaction even though it has so many benefits.

is. At the last part of his profile, he mentioned that he grew up in Mankato, Minnesota. I e-mailed him right away and said that I did too! I gave him my e-mail address and my cell number, He called me a few minutes later and said, "Was your name Laurie Scheurer in high school?" I replied "Yes! How did you know my name?" He said, "I was a sophomore and you were a senior. I had the biggest crush on you, and have been looking for you on and off for the past 46 years hoping to find you single and available!"
He lives inTucson, which is only a couple of hours from me. Jay drove the next day to Peoria where I live and we met at my home. He and I are doing well. We both love to dance and we travel back and forth on weekends to see each other. Oh, by the way, his name is Jay Anderson!
