Laurie's Story
I don't really have much of a story, and I doubt if anyone would even remember my being there, as I transferred out after the first year. I was so terribly homesick and depressed, and looking back on the whole experience makes me realize that Sullins College was not a good fit for me. Any good high school guidance councilor should have directed me elsewhere, and certainly closer to where my family was. There are so many good small colleges in Massachusetts that would have been so much better for me then. raduated in '68 and Chistine Miller who was in my class of '69. I was able to connect with Dorcas about 15 years ago, but I don't know where Chris is. If anyone is interested you can find me in Google. Today finds me happily married to an artist/architect and am a water-color artist myself. We've been living in San Francisco for the past 30 years, but travel to Europe as often as finances allow. We have no children, but share our home with a very large and friendly cat. Life has been good, hope it has been for y'all too. Hope to hear from anyone who remembers the small, unhappy blonde Yankkee.
