I lived in Rochester for much of my life; but I was very lucky in that I had the opportunity to travel for work for many years. I've traveled for work to all 50 states - most of them dozens of times. I did live in London and Hong Kong, and I have traveled to other parts of Europe and Asia. I haven't made it yet to South America, Africa or Australia, but there's still time. Until not too long ago I always went home to Rochester. Now I live near Philadelphia. Finding work here was much easier and the weather is so much better. Spring really shows up in March. Although the cost of living in Philadelphia is very, very high and the crime stories that you hear about here every day would curl your hair if they happened even once in Rochester. I miss so many things from life in Rochester. I miss my family, my friends, Abbott's Custard, taking a drive to the Finger Lakes, and how in Rochester nothing is more than 20 minutes away.
