Laurie's Story
I know this makes me sound old, but where did the years go? Oh how I wish I knew then what I know now, what a difference my years at BA would have been. I never went to college, but made it ok anyway. I married in November 1976 to a wonderful man with a 13 year old daughter. I was very young but I was correct in that this was the man of my dreams. We are still married and happy with a son born in Oct.1981. We have been living in Little Rock, AR since Nov. 1981. hardest business to be successful in. We have had our successes and our failures but wouldn't do anything else. Our son, Zac went away to Chicago to college but eventually migrated back to Arkansas to join us in the business. Since Katrina hit NOLA, my step daughter and son-in-law and three grandchildren now call Little Rock home. I now have all of my family in beautiful Arkansas including my sister and her family. My parents moved here about 20 years ago. I am now taking care of them which is not always easy but it is the way it should be. It's wonderful that I can take care of them to repay them for all the care they gave to me.
