Laurie's Story
After high school I got married and started a family.My husband was in the navy so we moved around a bit. Finally settled back here in rhinelander well actually woodboro and built a house. I have five children, three of them I had biologically and I adopted two more. I did foster care for 7 years and was able to help out a lot of kids during those years. I got the last two when they were just babies and ended up adoting them. Then because I now had five children decided I no more foster care or I would end up with a bunch more and I needed to have enough time for the five that I had. I started...Expand for more
a karaoke and Dj buisness in 2000 and I am still doing that now. Unfortunately I am also struggling through a very bad divorce right now. I was married for 20 years so I thought it was forever but as I am learning you sometimes cant fix things and when your are hurt enough you finally give up.Anyway now I am working throught the divorce and trying to re-oranize my life which I am finding is not an easy task. My children are my life. I also enjoy reading and camping and dancing and watching movies and four wheeling. so anyway that's my life not to exciting but never the less it is my life. hehe
