Laurie Rivesman:  

He was my commanding officer in JROTC. Military I went to Basic Training at Fort Leonardwood, MO. I was in Bravo Company 1-48 Infantry. There, I learned of somebody falling in love with me. We got closer and I eventually fell in love with him. We got together the day before graduation, then went to separate Advanced Individual Training Posts. I went to LA to see him the day I graduated. We got stationed at separate duty stations. He went to Ft. Hood, I went to Korea. We were engaged for 3 years, then broke up after i made the move to Texas. Obviously I moved on from him, I am now happily married to Derek. He and I have been in love since we met at Ft Lewis in 2003. He was friends with my ex-husband. Now he and I are married and I have come to realize that my ex-fiance was immature, controlling, and never planned on marrying me. But that's his problem, only stupid people lose the same thing twice, and this time it's for good. Derek is the love of my life and I am very happily married to him. We have been through so many obstacles, with is exes, my exes, and deployments. But weh ave managed to pull through them and are very happy and have our family.
