Laurie's Story
Life
After graduation I went to Wright State where I met my husband, Steve, who is a nuclear engineer, have been married for 30+ years. We've lived in Florida, Idaho, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Ohio, and now live in Maryville, TN. We have 4 children, three boys and a girl, a German Shepherd & a cat. We also have a daughter-in-law married to our oldest and a grandson, born 3/31/08! Our #2 son, Chris served in the U.S. Marines in Iraq. We have another daug...Expand for more
hter-in-law married to our #3 son, Brad. We have a consulting business (Horizon Energy Group) in the U.S., Poland, and Latvia. I graduated from the Univ. of Tennessee w/my Finance/Accounting degree in 2003 and retired in December 2007 from my job as an accountant for Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union in Alcoa, TN. I work at home for our consulting business. I recently received bilateral cochlear implants and hear better than I've ever heard in my life!
