Laurie's Story

I retired from the Marine Corps in Sept 2006. I enjoyed my time on active duty and got to live in some great places such as Hawaii, Hungary and Okinawa, Japan. After I retired, I went to work for Headquarters Marine Corps in Washington DC. My job took me to all the Marine Bases. I recently (16 March 2008) left ...Expand for more
that job and started a job with the U.S. Navy in Naples, Italy. I am looking forward to learning about my new home and the traveling I'll get to do from here. I have a son, Mike. He is 22 yrs old and in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed in Sumter, S.C. but is currently deployed to Kuwait with the U.S. Army.
