Lavern's Story
After being in Old Fort for a while, when my mom got sick, I had forgotten how laid back life was here. It was nice to see some of the people I did go to school with.
I had moved to Detroit and from Detroit to Washington, DC. Had three kids, married twice. One divorce and I am now a widow, and as much as his family want to blame me. I did not kill him.
My oldest son has three girls and one (son I hope) on the way. My daughter has a son. I have a step-son who has four girls and four boys. So I have a total of twelve and counting grandchildren and a german shepherd....Expand for more
What I learned from my kids and grandkids, is that I am not always right and to tell them I'm sorry when I mess up.
My favorite way to relax is light candles, nice glass of something and a hot bubble bath.
I am what my family and friends call a obsessed Redskin football fan.
My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be too old to do anything. I was so completely wrong.
If I had one do over, I would have done better in school and asked out the guy in my spanish class who use to stare at me all doing class and was afraid to ask me out.
