Lawn's Story
Life
Some thirty plus years after the fact, I was finally able to get my high school sweet heart to marry me. We reconnected, believe it or not, through Classmates about five years ago. We were married in 2005.
We live in the south of Washington state and are both retired. When retirement came in 2010 it was goodbye big city, hello country life as we moved to our little version of Green Acres in the far east part of the state.
Both Linda and I have a keen interest in nature which, when combined with our mutual passion for photography results in many trips in the out of doors, attempting to capture the beauty we see. I have put up a few sample photos here at classmates and if you would like to see more, just Goggle Lazy 3L Photography and you will find the link to our site.
Linda and I are also animal lovers and we share our time with a plethora of animals. They are Grace, a dapple gray Percheron mare who will be coming 15 soon. Gracie, as we most often refer to her is Linda's cantankerous "Old Gray Mare". She is about 16 hands 2 inc...Expand for more
hes tall and weighs around 1500 pounds. My sweetie is known as Lakota. She is 1600 pounds of black and blue roan Clydesdale who stands nearly 18 hands. She is just over 9 y/o. Pictures of both of our girls can be found at our Lazy 3L Photography gallery site. Our newest addition is Babe (aka Little One). She is an 8 y/o mini-horse that we acquired in late 2012. Babe is due to foal soon, so we impatiently waiting for a new member of the family.
The rest of our menagerie consists of two dogs, 18 chickens, five ducks and a covey of quail. The biggest personality in our group is Buzzy. The Buzz-Meister is a Border Collie...a simple way to say he is a very active and far too smart canine personality. The other dogs is Kodiak and she is the laid-back member of the household.
So that's about it to date (2012). If you would like, after reading this, to make contact with more of the Class of 70, then look me up on FB where I go by Lawn Moor. We have a group of alums who are talking back and forth, catching up and sharing life stories.
