Lawrence's Story
After graduation entered 2 different catholic religious orders, but ended up going into the Air Force in '63. This didn't work out so after coming out March '65, joined Kmart (S.S. Kresege Co.) Feb. of '67.(retired Dec. 1997). Slowly went down hill over the years becoming a real alcoholic until I hit bottom, partly because in High School discovered my personal life was different. Something not talked about in the 50's & 60's. But, today 2013 still have that life style, but live sober & at a late age & single still work at enjoying each day by day!! I may not have suceeded in life like a lot of my fellow classmates, but I'm still better today than I've been in those school days so very many year...Expand for more
s ago!! Retired & doing just fine. Interested to know if anyone coming from a good catholic school, also discovered their life style is certainly different & accepted in todays time & day. Life is as good as you make it thru the ups & downs over time as we age. Oh! Yes!! I'm the one who used to stand on the stairs every morning so no one would go up, plus I worked in the library after school & the 1st few years was in the band. Was a guide bearer my Junior year & on Battalion Staff my Senior year('59). Interesting to see how many names I recognized after all of these years.
