Life
I ran a boarding kennel after grad., decided to join USAF in Sep '76 to avoid draft (which ended a month or two later). Partied for 4 yrs., made a lot of good friends. Was able to get engineering job in '77 on strength of USAF electronics school. Dad and family got job transfer to Iowa in '73, Dad died in '78. I, along with Practice Wife, moved to Iowa soon thereafter. Went to work at Methode Electronics in nearby Carthage Illinois and divorced Practice...Expand for more
Wife in '81. Married Real Wife in '92, had Red Haired Girl in '93. With Methode, have traveled around the world (was in Paris on the '04 election day - screw the French). I am a director of R&D, and am in charge of administering the company's intellectual property (patents, license agreements, etc.) I serve on the local park board, never having forgotten the beauty of the creek and trail on my family's farm in Interlaken. We go back to visit every 2 years.
